Sales

Vehicle Sales Associate:
•    Meets dealership sales goals.
•    Greets customer and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired.
•    Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on demonstration drive.
•    Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase.
•    Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
•    Completes paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including but not limited to, preparing sales slip or sales contract.
•    Arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle.
•    Researches availability of models and optional equipment.
•    Engages in business development.
•    Addresses customer concerns.
•    Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
•    Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
•    Participates in required training
•    Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system     
•    Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
•    Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
•    Complies with Company policies and procedures
•    Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
•    Other duties as assigned

Desired Education:  High School Diploma or higher
Field of Study/Work Experience:  Automotive
Desired Work Experience:  3 + years
Education/Experience: Prior sales and/or customer service experience desired.
Certificates and Licenses:  Valid Driver’s License
Computer Skills:  Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Intermediate ability to learn web applications for customer management.
Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Attendance Requirements: The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include Saturday.
Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit.
Environment Demands: Duties are performed throughout the premises, both indoors and outdoors and on customer test drives. Due to the nature of the position, may be exposed to various work environments and required to perform a variety of tasks. Heavy standing work. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments.
Verbal and Writing Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
Math Ability:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.

Employment Benefits:   Full Time Employees at Durocher Auto Sales, Inc. receive Paid Training and after sixty days and Paid Personal Time. Paid Vacation Time is one week after one year and two weeks after two years. Full Time Employees are eligible after sixty days for Health, Dental and Life Insurance.  Full Time employees are eligible to join our 401(k) after one year of employment if they meet the age requirement of 21 years of age.

Service Technicians:
• Examines customer vehicles.
• Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Estimates cost of repairs.
• Performs alignments.
• Performs evac recharges.
• Diagnose and repair suspension.
• Diagnose and repair dash mechanics.
• Remove and install engines.
• Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Documents services performed.
• Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.
• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Requests necessary parts.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area

Computer Skills: Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system.
Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Attendance Expectations: The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts include rotating Saturdays.
Physical Demands:  Must be able to lift to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Environment Demands:  Duties are performed primarily in the service area. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions. Frequently interacts with customers, service advisors and the service manager.
